Sky Ahoy

In this steampunk RPG adventure into a world of floating islands, pirates and robots. Craft and dismantle with a unique forging system and watch as the world changes around you based off your choices. Will you be a hero, pirate or even a revolutionary?

Here is my most recent demo for the game that is available for the public. Being a demo it is very bare bones missing a lot of the content I aim to have in the game and you will find some bugs or things that just don't look right. I hope it gives a good feel of the game.

What's included? All of the systems I want for the game are in place which is a massive win. The game has the tutorial and the first map of the game. The different maps allow you as the player to explore more of the game and there will be 4 in total.

The demo introduces all of the elements of the game but not everything that is possible. For instance you will fight steam powered robots but later on in the game you will be able to put their parts back together and get them to fight for you.

In this demo you will be focusing on getting yourself ready to steal an artifact from some pirates in an underground cove. The artifact is pressure to the nearby village but what you do with it is up to you. Return it? Keep it? Sell it to a mysterious purple man?

Pirates and Adventure! Rediscover ancient artifacts from before the sky islands formed, anything from umbrellas to laser guns.

Your father was a famous archaeologist that found ancient technology and integrated it into the steam powered technology which is all that is left. He heard of a new power source to replace the pressurised capsules of air referred to as steam capsules. He dedicated years to trying to find it but eventual went missing just as he got close.

Features:

• Explore an ever growing world of sky islands full of life and secrets. Collect map fragments to increase the range of your map giving you access to more islands.
• Forge items together and dismantle them to get there parts in a unique crafting system which allows for combinations like a gun on a stick
• Integrate futuristic technology with steam powered technology, a futuristic robot but you don't have the power to keep it running for longer than a minute and more.
• Collect artifacts from a forgone time that can increase your abilities as a player or give them to the museum.
• Fight pirates and become a hero to the people or raid villages and become a feared pirate.
• Join the large corporations with a monopoly over energy or topple them as a revolutionist.
• Become a peaceful farmer that grows crops and travels far and wide to find new unique seeds.
